• Sol Gann : [asking Connie to be the temporary guardian of Natty Gann]  It's not going to be that hard Connie. I mean she's a good kid, practically takes care of herself. All you got to do is make sure she's eating right and she's getting her sleep in now just look after her.

  Connie : Okay.

  Sol Gann : Just watch over her. After I get some money I'll send it to you first thing. And all you got to do is buy her a ticket and put her on a train.

  Connie : It will be extra for taking her to the station. And if your not paying me in advance Sol it will be 9 bucks not 7.

  [the clock chimes] 

  Sol Gann : [relizes it's getting late]  Okay, okay it's a deal Connie.

  [puts his arm on her shoulder] 

  Sol Gann : You'll do it?

  Connie : Sol I said I'll do it.

  [puts her hand on his his chin in a reassuring gesture] 

  Connie : I'll do it.

  Sol Gann : [smiles at her]  Thanks, Connie.

  [grabs his bag and leaves]
