Sex & Nudity

  • Several episodes deal with mature sexual themes.
  • In episode 4, a woman takes her shirt off, but then covers her breasts with her arms so that nothing is seen.
  • In Episode 6, a man spies on a woman through her window. She is shown in revealing clothes, and her butt is partially revealed at one point. A man climbs on her in bed, but then they're interrupted before anything serious is shown.

Violence & Gore

Profanity

  • Infrequent minor swearing. One use of the 'f' word in Episode 10, but that's the only occurrence throughout the whole series.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Mainly serious and potentially difficult subject matter.
  • Decalogue V features two deaths, one murder and one execution (both are not fully onscreen, not graphic). Both of which are extremely hard to watch.
  • The last 25 minutes of both Decalogue I and IX can be hard to watch for some viewers.
