A very lovely children-film made to think for grown-ups
BingoSta12 June 1999
I saw this film on the German "Kinderkanal" (Children's Channel). But this film is not only made for children, its also for grown-ups, who should get thoughtful. Lisa, 10 years old, is told a lie, that her father lives in Rio de Janeiro, but actually he is in jail. Lisa really wants to see her father and undertakes everything to see him. She manages, and wants to fly alone, hiding the secret to her mother and the friend of the mother. A very lovely film with a surprising end, telling us: don´t tell lies to children.. recommendable

Very nice

I don't have much to say about this movie, except that it is a nice portrait of a monoparental family and the arrival of someone else in the new "family". But the most important is the little girl, Lisa (played by Wenneke), who really REALLY wants to meet her father, supposedly in Brazil, but unfortunately in jail. I recommend it. It's quite entertaining and it offers a surprising ending!
