- In Norway, a military plane crashes under mysterious circumstances; In his last message, the pilot reported many lights falling from the sky. NATO wants to play down the incident, but the famous TV moderator George Abbot and the no less persistent journalist Milker sense a sensational story about UFOs and start snooping around in the area with help of pilot "Bird" McNamara. Inspired by the suspiciously rigorous isolation of the whole area around the crash point and cases of an unknown disease, they have a closer look at the military's activities.—Tom Zoerner <Tom.Zoerner@informatik.uni-erlangen.de>
- A shower of mysterious lights illuminates the night sky - the last thing a pilot sees before his plane crashes and he disappears without a trace. His partner, too, mysteriously disappears. Farmers awake to find their cattle gutted clean, and and entire gypsy clan contracts a virulent disease - then vanishes. Has the region fallen prey to alien visitors in UFO's? Investigative reported Jeff Milker scoffs at the "infotainment" dished up by glamorous television newsman George Abbott, but the two find themselves uneasy partners when Nato officer Colonel Clancy refuses to allow them access to the area. With the help of Bird McNamara - a gorgeous daredevil pilot with an eye for attractive men - they ignore the Colonel's orders and close in on the truth.
