Goofs As often happens in Hollywood productions, when one fire sprinkler was set off, the others were also. This is not how most fire sprinkler systems work. To minimize water damage to property, individual fire sprinkler heads are set off by extreme heat or flame, extinguishing the fire on scene. Running sprinklers in unaffected rooms and halls, would cause excessive damage and reduce water pressure for the important areas, and for any firefighters. See more »
