• Continuité: The dark leather cord holding Auryn around Bastian's neck suddenly turns into a gold chain half way thru the movie.
  
  
• Equipe ou équipement visible: The face of a man wearing sunglasses is reflected in the microwave when Bastian is getting the food out.
  
  
• Continuité: Mr. Koreander's name begins with a K in the credits as well as on the window of his bookstore, but as Bastian's father reads in the car, we see that it begins with a C within the text of The Neverending Story.

• Continuité: When Bastian and Atreyu are sitting by the fireplace, Atreyu puts his arrow on the ground. In the close-up he has the arrow in his hand again.
  
  
• Continuité: When Bastian comes running up the stairs by the harbor, you can see a black couple on the right. The woman is wearing a gray coat with a black vest and a white shirt. The man is wearing a black coat, black shoes and white socks. When we cut to Bastian running across the street, you can see the same couple wearing the same clothing crossing the street, but this time they are not walking together.
  
  
• Continuité: When Bastian grabs the roll of paper he pulls some paper over the kitchen bench. In the next shot, the paper is rolled back.
  
  
• Continuité: When Bastian stabs the toast and lifts it up, there is a big chunk of meat hanging out of the toast. In the close-up of the toast, the chunk is gone.
  
  
• Continuité: When Bastian is lying in his bed, he is looking at a picture which stands at the edge of his night table. In the next shot, the picture has moved in on the table.
  
  
• Continuité: When Atreyu and Bastian is sitting by the fire you see Atreyu holding an arrow in his left hand when he is getting up. In the next shot, the arrow is in his right hand.
  
  
• Continuité: In the end, when Bastian jumps over the cliff edge, we see his arms coming together so it looks like he is going to dive into the waterfall. In the next shot, we see his arms still out and they do not come together until he is partially in the mist from the waterfall.
  
  
• Révélant des erreurs: When Tri-face is introducing his memory machine and his three faces are rotating, we can see where the camera shot changes to show the actor.
  
  
• Continuité: In the scene where Bastian brings Atreyu back to life with Auryn, as the camera looks down at the corpse of the warrior, you can easily see the steady throbbing of the jugular vein in his neck. This pulse is visible even as Bastian sits lamenting over the body of his friend, before he even decides to make the wish to bring him back.
