As he returns to Canada with the Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter’s teasing a “surprise” upcoming Canadian project, reminiscing about performing with Drake in Toronto and sending well-wishes to Shawn Mendes as the 24-year-old popstar tackles mental health challenges.
Mendes, who co-wrote the Backstreet Boys’ 2019 single “Chances,” recently cancelled his tour in order to deal with the mental struggles of being back on the road. Having been with the Backstreet Boys for 29 years, Carter knows all about the mental toll of touring and he’s currently working on launching a mental health initiative. While it’s primarily aimed at youth, the project’s also partially-inspired by Carter’s own strife navigating showbiz from a young age.

Sometimes, game shows are at their best when things don’t go according to plan.
James Holzhauer lost his 33rd game of “Jeopardy!” after wagering an uncharacteristically modest $1,399 in his final “Final Jeopardy” round on June 3. He was expected to beat Ken Jennings’ all-time highest winnings record of $2.5 million that day, but lost in a shocking turn of events to opponent Emma Boettcher. Holzhauer, a professional gambler, explained why he bet so low, telling The Action Network, “I knew I could only win if Emma missed Final Jeopardy, as there was no way she wouldn’t bet to cover my all-in bet. So my only concern was getting overtaken by third place, and I bet just enough to make sure of locking him out.”
Bob Barker Is a True Professional, Exhibit A: The host dealt with a dopey “Price Is Right” contestant who prematurely reveals the correct answer.

Having sent Edge-returnee Tyson back to Extinction, the stakes have never been higher as the target on everyone’s back grows larger by the minute.

Survivor‘s Winners at War will undoubtedly go down as one of the series’ most ambitious and exciting seasons yet. While we certainly aren’t throwing shade at this longed-for all-star extravaganza, there’s one element that’s disrupting this island paradise: tribal council side chats. Lately, the repetitious bevy of whispers has bulldozed the sanctity of tribal, sucking up precious airtime and leaving viewers scratching their heads.
Tribal council whispering is nothing new. In the Caramoan season, chatter erupted after the Three Amigos pulled out a triple immunity play. More recently, in Game Changers‘ infamous dual-tribe vote, a smattering...

DNA is the first Backstreet Boys album to hit Number One in nearly 20 years, quite a moment for a group that’s spent the lion’s share of those two decades wandering the pop wilderness. Of course, if the Bsb who sold somewhere in the neighborhood of eleventy skadillion records between 1997 and 2001 were to gaze into our dystopic future and behold the diminished reality of DNA‘s 234,000 first-week “pure purchases,” they’d probably drown themselves in the nearest hot tub. Today, however, the Backstreet’s-backness signified by that paltry sales...

Jimmy Fallon and the Backstreet Boys, billed as the “Bawkstreet Boys,” dressed as chickens and clucked “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” on Thursday’s Tonight Show.
The sketch is as advertised: The boy band and the late-night host donned chicken suits and clucked out an almost a cappella version of the 1997 hit using only poultry noises. However, the “Bawkstreet” Boys and Fallon did, still dressed as chickens, delivering the song’s trademark music video dance moves.

Throughout the clip, each of the band’s five members – Aj McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell – hang out with their wives and children in various settings: dancing in a living room, sipping wine on a couch, playing basketball, gazing out at nature and cooking in a kitchen.

Kane Brown unleashed the rhythmic rock energy of his current single “Lose It” on Tuesday’s episode of The Voice, appearing as a musical guest while results from the first round of live voting were revealed.
Staying cool and collected in contrast to the song’s theme of unrestrained romance, Brown stalked the glittering stage and slapped hands with fans in the front row while his low-slung baritone helped him land somewhere between swaggering tough guy and flirtatious boy next door. The track appears on his second album Experiment and...
