A hysterically funny film
leonessa12 June 2003
I saw this movie at a foreign language movie fest, and it had me laughing from beginning to end. It is sophisticated French humor, starring Gregory Peck's daughter, Cecilia. It has subtitles, though, so for those who don't like that, you may not like having to read them all through the movie. (Cecilia Peck speaks a little English in the movie, but not much.) My friends who know French film tell me that this high quality type comedy rarely makes it to the American market, because it's too expensive to bring it here, compared to the number of Americans who will tolerate subtitled films.

The plot is very funny, and the audience sees the "comedy of errors," while the hero has to figure it out step by step.

I also enjoyed seeing the Paris street scenes, showing primarily the new architecture of the Paris.
