Like "It's a Wonderful Life", but without all the bloodshed.

A beautifully crafted masterpiece, Good Cop/Bad Cop is well on its way into being a Christmas classic. A bad cop (Fred Rogers) finds himself short of Christmas money with only 2 days left before the big day. Not wanting to disappoint the kiddies, Fred decides to shed his "good neighbor" image and rob his neighbors houses while they are away. Fortunately, a good cop (Roger Shuman) comes to save the town when he is called to an robbery in progress a few doors down. In the shocking final scene, Roger discovers that Fred is the notorious "neighborhood robber" and that he has also been pocketing his Salvation Army donations. Upon this discovery, Roger summons the Floating Head of Death and the evil Mr. Rogers meets his untimely end by being suffocated with a freshly utilized toilet plunger. Finally, all the townspeople are gathered together for one last chance to lash out at Fred's burning, mutilated carcas. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll wet all yourself as you witness the most emotionally moving movie since "Forbidden Planet".
