This is one of the most charming films I have ever seen! The cast is excellent. It just goes to show that you don't have to make sense to anyone else to be happy. The real surprise is at the very end! FANTASTIC!

Simply delightful and heartwarming.

A charming story which I think represents true life in many families -- Jean Stapleton is enchanting as always and incredibly perfect for this part. The other actors are equally good, as they are well known to be ---- I just simply loved this and am still looking for a copy of it somewhere. I have a home-taped version on videotape from those many years ago and like everything else, it is showing the wear of time. Would love a link to where it can be found. Should you have the option of seeing it, please do - it is well worth your time! Though you actually only see three people total on one set --- it is really a wonderful story that keeps your interest and has great appeal.. I think the older you get, the more you can appreciate it.
