Another goofy HK comedy.

Hong Kong pop star Sam Hui stars as the cowardly Mo Chung, who becomes a gallant hero when drunk. He is on a mission to infiltrate his brother and sister-in-law's plot to blackmail the wealthy Simon Hing (Ricky Hui).

This is another period comedy from Director Clifton Ko, known for his happy-go-lucky and carefree films. The setting is nicely done with colorful period costumes and cinematography and there is a respectable cast of characters in Sam Hui, Ricky Hui, Lydia Sum and Teresa Mo. However, the plot of the movie gets lost in translation somewhat amidst all the screwball comedy and goof humor.

You still manage to get a few laughs out of the film, but only those who truly love nonsensical comedy would enjoy this film.
