Packed with new features, enhanced customisation, and improved functionality, the update marks a new chapter for Nothing’s first smartphone and a commitment to user experience on older generation models.
Nothing Os 2.0 has been available for Phone (2) users since its launch last month and now, Phone (1) users can also use the software, the company said in a statement.
Nothing Os 2.0 update is based on Android 13, which is what currently ships on Nothing’s latest device.

San Francisco, June 23 (Ians) Chip-maker Qualcomm on Friday said it has extended its collaboration with Sony to power its future smartphones with next-generation Snapdragon platforms.
The companies agreed to work together on the next generations of premium, high and mid-tier smartphones.

San Francisco, Feb 24 (Ians) Chip maker Qualcomm has showcased the world’s first demonstration of Stable Diffusion on an Android device to further improve its efforts in working with AI.
Stable Diffusion is a deep learning, text-to-image foundation model, first created in 2022 and is commonly used to generate detailed images based on text descriptions within tens of seconds, as seen on ‘Dall-e’ and other similar online platforms.
For the first time, Qualcomm’s AI Research team performed full-stack AI optimisations using the company’s AI Stack to deploy Stable Diffusion on an Android smartphone powered by its Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform.

So when I say that Kat Leyh’s graphic novel Thirsty Mermaids is about three young people who do something fairly dumb on short notice and without thinking it through, and end up deeply stuck in a place they don’t understand at all, you can see how that could go in a million different ways. In this case, it is fantasy. The title is not a metaphor: they are mermaids.
Or, actually, they were. That was the fairly dumb thing: transforming to human so...
