With his character being pushed into oncoming traffic on the Tuesday, March 5 episode, thereby killing him off, actor Brian Gaskill has confirmed that his time in Genoa City as Seth on “The Young and the Restless” has ended.
In a message posted on his Instagram page, Gaskill said, “Between social media and the Internet in general, news travels ridiculously fast these days …so… yeah, that happened…(and if you haven’t seen yet, please watch… I hear Los Angeles might be preempted… so check out Paramount+ or look for Times).”
“I had a great time on ‘Young and the Restless’ with the producers, directors, publicity department, and other actors,” added Gaskill in his post. “And it was incredible to see so much support from all of my friends on social media, who have been following along over the years… So grateful for all of you. Now let’s see what comes next…...

The Friday, March 1 episode of “The Young and the Restless” is shaping up to be a must-see, as teased by actor Brian Gaskill, who is currently appearing on the series as Seth, Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) AA sponsor.
On X (formerly Twitter), Gaskill noted, “It’s the beginning of everything” when talking about what fans can expect to happen next on the soap. Making things even more interesting, Friday’s episode sees Nikki learning shocking news. Does Gaskill’s tweet have anything to do with Nikki? You’ll have to tune in to find out!
Although we can’t wait to find out what happens next, one can’t help but wonder if Seth’s recent outings with Jordan (Colleen Zenk) might have something to do with “the beginning of everything” or his true backstory.

The year 1990 was the beginning of a new decade that just had survived the neon excesses of the ’80s. This fresh start was seen in the world at large with the reunification of Germany, the unification of Yemen, the release of Nelson Mandela and the resignation of Margaret Thatcher as the U.K.’s prime minister.

On May 18, 1985, Dynasty concluded its fifth and highest-ever-rated season with a cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers: the Moldavian wedding massacre.
Amanda (Catherine Oxenberg), long-lost daughter to Alexis (Joan Collins) and Blake (John Forsythe), is marching down the aisle, soon to wed Prince Michael (Michael Praed), of the European nation of Moldavia. But before the ceremony can conclude, terrorists spray the chapel with bullets, and the season's final moments show the cast lying bloodied and lifeless – but still looking glamorous, of course.
The episode sparked viewer concern for the Carrington clan and their associates. Who could possibly survive? In September, the sixth-season premiere revealed that,...

On October 4, 1990 a new show made its debut on Fox. Beverly Hills, 90210 went on to become a pop culture phenomenon, turning Jason Priestly, Shannen Doherty and Luke Perry into household names, inspiring spin-offs like Melrose Place and Models Inc., and reintroducing sideburns into the mainstream. On the day of the show's premiere, The Hollywood Reporter’s Miles Beller reviewed the program, starting with one unexpected comparison. Read the original review below. Seems to me this sort of thing was done with a purported comic twist a few years back with The Beverly Hillbillies. That is, take a

Garcelle Beauvais, who plays Hanna Linden on TNT’s drunk lawyer show Franklin & Bash, is going to go up the dial a bit to a guest-spot on TV Land’s original sitcom, The Exes, starringScrubs’s Donald Faison. The episode is set to air July 25th.
Beauvais (who dropped the Nilon off her name after she got divorced last year) has been doing well so far into Franklin & Bash season 2. I wouldn’t go so far as to hail her as a great actress, but her portrayal of Hanna Linden is well-executed. She and the sleazy Damien Karp (also well played by Reed Diamond) are attempting behind the scenes to get our heroes F & B drummed out of the prestigious Infeld Daniels law firm where they all work, but when Hanna has to work with our party boys, she genuinely seems to enjoy their company and what they do. Fox celebrates 25 years Sunday (April 22) night with two hours of original programming, featuring some of the network's biggest stars over the years, preceded by reairings of the pilot episode of "Married... With Children" and the first full-length episode of "The Simpsons."
Ryan Seacrest hosts the extravaganza with appearances by the cast of "Married... With Children," Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny of "The X-Files," Keenan Ivory, Marlon and Shawn Wayans from "In Living Color," Hugh Laurie from "House," Calista Flockhart from "Ally McBeal," and more.
The celebratory mood has gotten us here at Zap2it thinking about the best ("The O.C.," "Arrested Development") the network has offered over the years -- and the worst ("The Swan," "Models Inc."). But we want to know: What's been your favorite Fox show of the last 25 years?

Word came down the pipe today (via TMZ) that the producers behind the Gremlin-like Real Housewives franchise are seeking out good Christian… uh… ladies for a reality series based on ABC’s Gcb. In the era of reality proliferation, it’s become a go-to to rip off the hard work of TV writers and reproduce their ideas cheaply by training the lens on a coterie of overindulged, under-restrained aspiring singers and actresses. Indeed, it’s exactly how Real Housewives was born: the smal-screen version of Athena springing from the head of Zeus, only replace the goddess of wisdom with Vicki Gunvalson...

This week, EW University takes a look at the people who helped shape the modern TV landscape. Our first class on TV Auteurs takes a look at the illustrious, often licentious oeuvre of Aaron Spelling. Class is now in session! Yes, kids, the late Aaron Spelling gave television more than the future star of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood. Far, far more, in fact. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Spelling holds the record for the most executive producer credits: 218. That alone, of course, does not an auteur make, but from The Mod Squad to Charlie’s Angels, from Beverly Hills, 90210, to Charmed, a distinct and almost incomprehensibly influential vision emerged. Spelling practically invented the modern TV guilty indulgence, a formula tougher to execute than it looks. When you're watching Burn Notice or Gossip Girl or Desperate Housewives and that "zap" hits the pleasure center of your brain,...
