Director Eric Louzil said that when they hired French actress Lydia Denier, who had appeared nude in her previous films, she understood and agreed that she'd be doing nude scenes for this film. It was even in her contract. But when they went to shoot a sex scene, she refused to take her clothes off. They argued with her and she kept saying no. They'd already shot other regular scenes with her so they couldn't fire her. They ended up having to hire a body double.
Eric Louzil said Malcolm McDowell was a great guy to work with. A lot of fun. Louzil admitted they had a lousy script, but McDowell could take terrible material and make it look interesting. He had a 21-year old girlfriend with him and they had to rent a limo for her the whole time so she could go buy antiques.
They shot the film in New Orleans and Eric Louzil said nobody was sober ever.
