Most of the basic training and war scenes were shot at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma. A sign displaying the name "Fort Sill" is clearly visible in one scene. suite
Erreurs faites par les personnages (éventuellement des erreurs délibérées par les cinéastes): When the group calls for the second airstrike, their sergeant states that a group of F-111s is headed their way. However, when the aircraft arrive, it is a group of combat helicopters, not F-111 fighter jets. suite
1st Sgt. Brandon T. Williams:
Have my words fallen upon deaf ears?
Bones:
Yes, Sergeant! I mean No, Sergeant!
1st Sgt. Brandon T. Williams:
Don't you know that I'm your First Seargent?
Bones:
I really wish you were my First Sergeant, but I already had a couple ones already.
1st Sgt. Brandon T. Williams:
Drop and give me push ups! You will continue to give me push ups until you learn to address me as First Sergeant! Is that clear?
Bones:
Yes. First Sergeant!
1st Sgt. Brandon T. Williams:
Go!
Bones:
One, First Sergeant, Two First Sergeant...

Bones and Jack are two ne'er-do-well best friends who work odd jobs to support themselves, but really have dreams of one day opening their own store. Out of work and looking to make some extra cash, they enlist in the U.S. Army reserves where they sign up to be water purification specialists. Little do they dream that they'll be sent on active duty in the country of Chad after conflict erupts in the Middle East. Dry comedy has its moments and is likely to please fans of its star, but it's never uproarious and never really exploits the premise for all it's worth. In most cases actor Shore is an acquired taste, but he's enjoyable and adds life here. **
