Warning: Spoilers
Jennifer Reed (Tracy Brooks Swope, taking over for Valerie Wildman from Inner Sanctum) once killed her husband in self-defense and that's a spoiler if you didn't watch the first one.

Now, she keeps seeing him coming back from the dead in her dreams while her waking time is spent dealing with battling over her husband's inheritance with her brother-in-law Bill (Michael Nouri) and wife Sharon (Sandahl Bergman).

Margaux Hemingway comes back to play exactly the same part as the first movie, while director Fred Olen Ray brings in his regulars here like Robert Quarry and Peter Spellos while finding work for David Warner, Joe Estevez and Jennifer Ciesar, who plays a sinister nurse.

This also has a zombie husband instead of Joseph Bottoms, less sex than the original and no Tanya Roberts. I can only assume that she was too busy starring as Rebecca on the Cinemax After Dark series Hot Line, a role she took over from Shannon Tweed that had her hosting a radio show that would introduce the sexual hijinks of every episode.

Erotic Horror Flick

Warning: Spoilers
This sequel was much better than the first film which was more of an erotic mystery. The sequel continued the plot from the first film, but went a much darker and scarier direction.

The events of this movie focuses on Jennifer, who survived her wealthy and crazed husband in the first film and had killed him in self defense. In this movie she has horrific nightmares that he is still trying to kill her and he looks to be some type of ghoul. She lives in the same huge house with a live in young pretty nurse who is having secret sexual encounters with a private investigator who poses as a handyman. The handyman and the nurse are investigating Jennifer's dead husbands greedy brother and his wife who come to stay at the house in order to collect on their part of the inheritance. Enter also Margot Hemingway who played her dead husbands lover in the first film. She is in this one in order to get her greedy hands on a large sump of money. Also their is a mysterious doctor in this as well. There are a few ravaging and explicit sex scenes mixed in along with some haunting visual effects and spooky music. The nurse begins to suspect that someone is trying to drive Jennifer insane when she insists that she keeps seeing her dead husband in the house and getting late night calls from him. No one believes her because of the ordeal she has went through. By the end of the film, you get to see a series of pretty bloody and graphic murders occur as somebody begins going around and killing off anyone associated with Jennifer and her wealth. The revelation of the serial killer at the end was a nice and well done surprise. Especially when it is revealed to be from a larger part of the original film. All I can say is it is someone who had it in for Jennifer way before her husband and his mistress had decided to hire someone to kill her in the first film. Definitely worth a watch!
