For years I have "Das Kalifornische Quartett" in my video collection,and I cannot stop watching it again and again. This mixture of tourism,discovering a part of America, good music, cool talking,good German actors...., is absolutely great. Watching this movie makes me feel good every time . Sometimes it is pure pleasure, sometimes it is a beautiful escape from everyday life.I visited already some of the places shown in the movie myself..., that makes me having the feeling of being a part of the movie. As a matter of fact, I recognize myself on a lot of occasions in that movie ( as an example, ...I like playing roulette). One of my dreams is to do the same trip with my wife and an other couple, just like in the movie. We could produce our own "road movie". So long ...yeaaaa...
