Great!

Crossing Guard is one of those underrated films that is a pure joy to discover. Sean Penn did a tremendous job directing it and Jack Nicholson is in top form here.It's easy to see why people ignored the film when it was released back in 1995 - but then again, the general public doesn't really watch good films unless they're being told what to watch come Oscar time. It's a shame, really that Crossing Guard wasn't nominated for anything. But then again neither was any of Tarkovsky's films. 9 out of 10!
