The visual style of this film was inspired by The Munsters and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Jacqueline Lovell turned down the opportunity to replace Vanessa Angel on the TV series Weird Science (1994) to make this movie.
Jacqueline Lovell said in a 2017 interview that this was the only one of her films she ever let her daughter, who was 16 at the time, watch. Lovell said her daughter was not happy she was naked so much and having sex with another man.
The movie was featured on the 12th episode of the William Shatner hosted series Full Moon Fright Night (2002).
On the DVD release of this film, clicking on Blake Bailey's biography reveals that he is an alien from Uranus who was brought to Earth to negotiate a deal with Full Moon Features where he would act in exchange for needed supplies for Uranus (notably, rutabagas).
