The title of this highly charged little detective comedy means: "the sky belongs to us" and finds its illustration in the very last sequence which sees Lenny (Melvil Poupaud) and Juliette (Romane Bohringer) under the stars. All what came before is carefree, playful stuff from Graham Guit whose main influence was Quentin Tarantino's cinema in his cinematographic approach and writing. The director and his scenarist Eric Névé manage to shroud their work with a constantly fanciful tone and consequently, it's a film that doesn't take itself seriously. It even goes the opposite of what we mostly find in these type of stories. For example, the love affair between the two heroes is rather given a rough ride by the scenarists. In short, the unexpected is the prevailing rule in the treatment of the story and the actors all have a freewheeling acting and seem to amuse themselves as much as we do.

The quoted epithets to deem Guit's effort will turn to his disadvantage in his next effort: "les Kidnappeurs" (1998).
