All the black actors are fine and this movie about what may (or may not be) ritual murders could have been interesting. The screenwriters got out of their way to provide the plot with African culture and religion .But Richard Bohringer, who can be excellent when he is directed by a talented director ,overplays in his part of Commissaire Diamant ("isn't it a Jewish name,Diamant ? "this is supposed to be funny)always shouting and always pouring out dirty words and insults even when the people he questions are polite and peaceable! And doesn't the professor know that there are lawyers in France ?If you can stay till the end ,hats off to you!
