Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Spencer is involved in a few fistfights, but they are mostly when he is inside the powered exoskeleton (Cybersuit) and fighting a beastly alien. No blood is shown and some alien weapons are used.
  • In one scene, with a single punch to the head, Turbo knocks Spencer into a table. In another scene, with a single punch to the head, Spencer knocks Turbo onto the ground. These characters are both young boys. Apart from some lighter, more-humiliating attacks, these two punches are extent of violence between people. However, Spencer does also use the Cybersuit to lift Turbo off the ground and toss him into a filthy dumpster, without injuring him.
  • The Cybersuit is a war vehicle, and one of the major themes surrounding it is destroying if not obliterating organic lifeforms perceived as hostile. Several people are almost injured because of false positives when the Cybersuit processes the environment, or because of accidental discharges of alien weapons.

Profanity

  • None.
  • There is small bit of toilet humor as there comes a point when Spencer, while trapped in the Cybersuit, desperately has to relieve his bladder, and the expression on his face is shown when he finally does. As well, Janet is shown reacting to how long her guests are in the bathroom.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The scenes where Spencer is confronted by bullies are somewhat intense.
  • A scene that is intense and somewhat frightening is when Spencer is confronted by a monstrous alien who fights him. He is in mortal danger during the whole scene. At one point, Spencer is momentarily inside of a car crusher that has been switched on.
