The problem I had with this movie is summed up in the scene where slimey cop Jake tries to blackmail Mary into having sex with him and she pulls out Jake`s gun and threatens him . Make no mistake Jake is a complete scumbag ( And if it were a mainstream movie Kevin Bacon would be the natural choice for the part ) but Mary had been drink driving , so you see there`s no innocent victim here . If Mary hadn`t volunteered to endanger both herself and others by getting behind the wheel of a car while drunk justice wouldn`t have been served on Jake which strikes as a completely confused and amoral way to serve justice to a villain , there`s no one to root for which is a rather ironic thing to say about a soft core porn film
