Better than average, but not by much
Madison-84 April 2006
As a product of the early 90s porn resurgence, this particular entry does a few things right, but there's enough of the usual to keep it weighted in the "eh" category.

Buck Adams plays the doctor who brings his dead wife (Rebecca Wild) back to life. Unfortunately for him, the brain used is that of a dead axe murderer. As time goes by, the new personality starts to dominate Wild.

The best parts of the film involve Adams and Wild. Unlike many performers in these films, there appears to be true passion in their eyes as they do their business. That scores brownie points with me. Adams isn't a half-bad actor either, and that helps. Also, Wild has never looked more beautiful than in this film. Unfornuately, there's also an out-of-nowhere piece of two consecutive sex scenes involving Anna Malle and two other girls that seem out of place, and are almost of the "pizza delivery guy" school of porn film-making.

Brittany O'Connell contributes a decent enough scene in the middle. Not her best, but far from her worst.

Worth watching for the first Adams/Wild sex scene, and possibly O'Connell's, but otherwise, standard fare.

Well-produced modern take on the classic

Buck Adams' version of "Frankenstein" is beautiful to look at, thanks to high-quality production values from Sin City Entertainment. It's far less than even a CliffsNotes condensation, but still makes for a good porn feature.

Rebecca Wild, shown in classic white nightgown, looks fabulous as the wife Christine of Dr. Frederick Frankenstein (played by Buck Adams), great-grandson of the famed experimenter in reanimation. She's died of meningitis, and with the help of colleague Dr. Hans Himmler (Tony Tedeschi), brought back to life with the brain of a recently deceased woman. Turns out that woman was an axe murderer, and her brain is gradually taking control of Christine.

But before Christine is completely overtaken by the dead Maria's brain, Buck gets to have sex with the busty beauty twice, and there is panache generated by their brief time left together. Other sex scenes feature Tedeschi humping Christine's redhead house maid Brittany O'Connell, plus a couple of group sex scenes outdoors starring bikini beauties Anna Malle, Lady Berlin and Felecia.

The colorful photography of fine sets inside Frankenstein's mansion and a pool and greenery outside make for a very pleasant feature, far from the Gothic approach usually taken. Biggest flub occurs when Christine calls her husband "Richard" after we've become accustomed to his proper character name of Frederick Frankenstein.
