3 Steps is a hunt for who did it. When this London girl's boyfriend is found dead in the river, she's trying to track down who did it. Dig through some promiscuity and socialite fluff and she finds her answer. Not much to it.

It's not the worlds best movie or anything, but it's fun. Fun characters and good acting, fun plot. It's simple and great to just sit back and enjoy. Nothing world breaking but I really do recommend it if you want a fun little movie about uncovering secrets and all.

This is a nicely-done TV movie - typical of Channel 4 from those days. Good acting, decent-enough plot and with some nice humorous asides in the script (which, played straight, might be a little dark).
I'm not sure what led to its being available on BFI Player, but well worth catching while it's there. Recommended.
