It seems director Claude Bernard Aubert (as Burt Tranbaree) simply invited some friends and frequent collaborators on a hunting trip and decided to take a camera along. Since these people were in the business of having sex with each other anyway, why not shoot a home movie while out on a duck hunt? Bad idea. The end result is boring and the sex often more laughable than arousing. Brigitte Lahaie gets top billing as usual, but she's hardly in it (only one scene of fornication, with Domeinique Aveline again). When the hunting party arrives (all at once) at a lakeside retreat, their host, Christine Beaugrand, is just testing the intimate parts of both of her maids and her chauffeur (the guests give her a standing ovation for this). Christine's face sort of remind me of Hellen Mirren. Not the way Mirren looked in the seventies, however, the middle aged, respectable Mirren of present day. I'm not saying Mirren isn't still a fine looking woman but, you know, she is getting on a bit. And apparently so was the lead of this picture at a time when the actual Helen was still young.
The rest of the film plays out more like a home movie than anything scripted beforehand, with sparse dialog and no explanations as to why these people are continually touching each other's privates. Four of the men sit down to play a game of cards as the maids settle down between their legs under the table. Being professional porn stars, all four players manage to keep their poker faces on as if nothing's happening downstairs. It gets even more absurd when the chauffeur is rowing a boat (standing up) while a blonde is felating him. I never did get French humor. Over at the Duck hunting shelter, Christine is being taken by Domenique Aveline, before she moves outside to stick another guests 'rifle' in her mouth. Maybe this was the only way for her to get any of these guys to visit? This is made even less appealing by having the scene inter-cut with some actual footage of adult film stars shooting live birds out of the sky.
After Brigitte's big scene at the log cabin (where all the other females stay while the men are out shooting with the hostess). Lahaie completely disappears from the picture (after all, she was the hardest working hard core star in the business). This means Tranbaree pulls out the usual disgusting playing with food dinner scene common to French porn and a prolonged game of hide and seek. Of course when you're watching this film for the first time, you might keep on watching hoping that Lahaie turns up again, but I can tell you not to bother. Instead the two maids again carry most of the burden, as well as France Lomay and Karine Gambier during one foursome. Still, the movie belongs to Christine Beaugrand all the way (well, it was her party) as she tries to get a taste of every guest in the house, ending up with scary Domenique Aveline, who is looking dumber than usual, wearing what used to pass as a blindfold as a bandanna. The next day, all the guests go bye bye. What a waste of time, people and resources, and especially such a waste of Brigitte.
