This was the 48th and final theatrical animated short of the Loopy De Loop series. Hanna-Barbera Productions decided to stop producing theatrical animation, focusing entirely on their television projects and began producing Saturday Morning cartoons in the mid-late 1960s, due to the acquisition of Great American Broadcasting in particular.
The final H-B theatrical short for Columbia Pictures before Warner Bros. bought the animated theatrical shorts in the pre-1991 library, ownership of Turner Entertainment.
