The film was called Megazone 23 in the UK even though Parts 1 and 2 were never released there.
When the Project Heaven screen comes up, after it is shut down, It contains a bunch of seemingly nonsense text in a box. This nonsense text includes the main characters names (Eiji and Ryo) written backwards, the names of the directors of Macross II and Moldiver, Kenichi Yatagai and Takeshi Aoki respectively, the original Japaneses names for Bahamut (Bahamoud) and Won Dai (Wang Dai) and the titles of around 3-4 of Eve's songs mixed in with terms used in the anime. Other weird things is the fact that 'USAGI' is part of the number codes at the top, and the box in the top corner reads 'Southern A. Stars'.
A tongue-in-cheek joke in Part III has the Psycholand Video Arcade Employee database list, as the first four names, Yui and her friends, Tomomi and Mai, and a filler name which is made up of ones, when Eiji looks at it.
The Narrator (Voiced by Peter Marinker) is only present in the Manga UK dub to explain the back story of the first two Megazone 23 story's since they were never released in the UK.
The Italian DVDs from Yamato Video feature DTS sound on the DVDs.
