A wealthy aristocrat dies intestate .The notary discovers his only heir:it's a distant relative ,Sigismond De Chèvrefeuille aka La Hurlette ,a homeless tramp who lives on a building site and who has lunch on a bench with his friend Carmen who reads the notary's legal notice in a newspaper.After all sorts of incidents , they take possession of their money.For a while, they spend without counting the cost,and shortly afterwards they are short of the readies.Their dear bench is still waiting for them.
