Nothing left in the kitty
dbdumonteil24 December 2009
As it is based on an Eugene Labiche play, this Couzinet production is perhaps a notch or two above the usual level which generally hits rock bottom.

Provincial people have a kitty ("La Cagnotte' is Labiche's title which was changed and became "three days of wild time in Paris" ) and they decide to go on a spree in Paris. They are mistaken for a band of thieves and wind up in jail.Too bad for one of the travelers ,a spinster eager to wait a suitor in some kind of marriage bureau.

Emile Couzinet was an independent producer from Bordeaux who did not care about what Paris thought of his works (they did not speak highly of them there). So ,in "Trois Jours De Bringue A Paris" ,he perhaps settled up with the capital. And they say that it ain't art-house movie!
