After returning home, sailors Andy and Emmett come to regret their decision of marrying their fiancees as they are saddled with endless chores and when a fire burns down their apartment, they move to the suburbs, where more mayhem ensues.
Andy and Emmett are sailors who return home to propose to their fiancées, but they soon find out that marriage is no piece of cake. When a fire burns down their apartment, they are forced to live in a rickety suburban home. Cleaning the house is no task as the two men deal with putting together a bed, dealing with an uncooperative dresser, and ruining the kitchen with fireplace soot.—Jmac1988
