Boileau- Narcejac were among the best thrillers writers that had ever been. That they could have written two classics of the genre "Les Diaboliques " and "Vertigo" ,both in the IMDb top 250 is no small feat for two Frenchies.

"Le Train Bleu" (this train ,long before the high-speed one ,used to link Paris with the Cote D'Azur). There are thirteen stops on the way to the Mediterranean sea and in every town ,something nasty and mysterious happens.I never had the opportunity to see all the episodes but all these I watched a long time ago were original and excellent ,with unexpected twists (Boileau-Narcejac 's trademark) and lots of good actors of the era.

This train also inspired Agatha Christie before the French team: "the mystery of the blue train" was released in 1928.
