Good performances help to elevate this movie, a story of two sisters who confront the stepfather who had abused them years earlier. Descriptions of what had occurred are wisely kept to a minimum, and instead, there is a greater focus on how the abuse affected the sisters (especially the older one). The film had several slow moments to be sure, but there were enough interesting times to keep me watching. Towards the end, I started to like these people, and I just wanted everything to work out for them. There was nothing particularly original about this film, but I liked the way the story was handled, so I do think that it's worth checking out.
