I find Seijuu Sentai Gingaman is flawed, but very awesome Tokusetsu series in 1998, The Story of the original source material makes sense in this version, the music is awesome, The Japanese Language is awesome, The Heroes are the Leader Ryouma/GingaRed the warrior of Fire, The Calm and The team's voice of reason Hayate/GingaGreen the warrior of Air, The Gentle Giant Gouki/GingaBlue the warrior of Water, The Cocky and Mischievous prankster Hikaru/GingaYellow the warrior of Lightning, The Token Female Saya/GingaPink the warrior of Flowers, and the older brother of Ryouma/GingaRed is Hyuuga/The Black Knight, The mentor is the gender flip of Grandmother Willow from Pocahontas (1995) is Wisdom Tree Moak, and the Fairy Sidekick is the gender flip of Tinker Bell from Peter Pan (1953) is Fairy Bokku, The Villains are the Hook-Handed Pirate Captain is Captain Zahab, While His name is derived from Captain Ahab from Moby-Dick, But His Hook-Hand Incident is very similar to Captain James Hook from Peter Pan, His attractive second-in-command, Who has a rivalry with Hayate/GingaGreen and is in charge of the helm is Steerwoman Shelinda, His intelligent scholar and the Uncle of Spectral Empress Iliess is Barrelled Scholar Bucrates, His name is derived from the Greek Philosopher Socrates, His Loyal Merchant from the Black Market and the Best Friend of Destruction King Battobas is Black Merchant Biznella, The Aggressive Leader of the Insect Biker Gang is Gun Boss Sambash, The Cool, Calm, Collected and Honourable Samurai Warrior, Who is the leader of the Sea Life Creature Ninja Warriors is Samurai General Budoh, The Treacherous and Greedy Middle-Eastern-Themed Sorceress, The Niece of Barrelled Scholar Bucrates and The leader of the Magical Multicultural Mythological Creatures is Spectral Empress Iliess, and The Loyal Viking Warrior, Who is the leader of Weapon-themed Robots and the Best Friend of Black Merchant Biznella is Destruction King Battobas. I'll give this series a 10/10.

Another sentai series is thrown into the clutches of Saban

The story of Gingaman (to me) is rather vague since I have only seen raw, non subtitled but in full Japanese episodes. It was not that great nor original. The effects were kinda cool, but besides that the series has no strong appeal towards me. I am surprised Saban chose this to be the next saga in the Power Rangers series. It's tacky.
