Hot off the heels of Comic-Con, production company Benderspink announces that they're adapting the horror comic Last Blood into a feature film. "Family Guy" executive producer and show regular David A. Goodman (of The Pavilion, "Enterprise", and "Family Guy" previously) has been hired to write the screenplay. The comic, created by Bobby Crosby and Chris Crosby, follows the human survivors of a zombie massacre who find themselves protected by a band of vampires who need their blood to survive. Sounds pretty sick and twisted, and obviously fun, to me! No details on who is expected to direct or even what studio this will end up at yet, but at least it sounds kind of exciting. Or is that just me? Last Blood was first published by Blatant Comics is 2006 and is still currently publishing new issues.
