- Nick, together with his ball-shaped robot "Ball Boy", travel to Earth on board a spaceship called "Space Colony" as part of his dissertation work. As a human being, he is called Ken Takase, and he meets Maki Hayama, a photographer of the Shukan Hit newspaper. Later, Takahashi saves her from the fall of a building. Maki was shooting a story about the building that was razed mysteriously. Next, she and Ken discover "Tentacle" is the bad organization is responsible for the demolitions and all other evil things around the world. Finally, Nick decides to stay on Earth and use his advanced technologies and superpowers to protect Maki and the children of Earth as Machineman, the superhero that is clad in red- and yellow- colored suit. His possession of advanced weapon systems enables him to combat Tentacles's cyborgs and guard the human race.

However, the return of Professor K heralded the emergence of the most formidable adversary yet: Golden Monsu. Machineman faces the enemy of the human race with all the strength and bravery he can summon, overcoming the ordeal of the ultimate test, and sealing the deal for a brighter dawn.
