Sex & Nudity

At the beginning of the film some young "primitive" female monkeys living in the trees do not have their chests covered.

Violence & Gore

There are many scenes of violence. Among them include: violence against youths by adults, forced poisoning against an incapacitated monarch, and many instances of cartoonish violence against the comic relief toady.

Profanity

"Damn". was used twice. "God" was used in a way some people find offensive.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking

One of the mokeys living in the trees smokes a pipe. A key plot factor revolves around the slow poisoning of the princess. Towards the end, one of the protagonists takes the poison meant as a lethal dose for the princess and dumps it into the mouth of one of the antagonists.

The ice cracks underneath an excursion party and most of them are assumed to drown. A few are shown going under. A tiger is shown in several scenes threateningly stalking. There is a scene involving arson, where the perpetrator briefly ends up trapped inside the burning structure.
