Good film adapted from Machado de Assis's novel Dom Casmurro. The ambiguity between facts and imagination are very well done. Boring and sexist Bentinho gets consumed by jealousy (is Capitu faithful?), besides a misterious feeling about Escobar (sincere friendship? Fascination? Envy? Also jealousy?!). The film becomes better and better as it advances. Not my famous adaptation of a story by Machado (Memórias Póstumas is certainly my number one!), but Capitu worth be watched.
