Thousand Mile's Escort came to me in a set of low budget 70's-80's Kung Fu films. Of the set this is the worst. It took me a week just to get through this film because it was so dull. I'm not even sure if this film had a plot, I'll assume it did but it can easily be seen as a loose collection of scenes with no real direction.

The dub I heard was possibly the most annoying dub of all time. There's a little child character who's voice can only be described as cats being put into blenders type audio agony.

There are few action scenes and what is here isn't that special. They're directed in a shaky-cam style that obscures all action.

Ultimately you should avoid this film.

actually, this is the one of the best bad kung fu flicks ever. the bad dubbing just adds to it. and the bad pan and scan and overall low quality will crack you up! I found myself wondering if the people who did the translation really spoke English or not. its a close call. anyways, lots of great misquotes and so on... some of the stunts are so funny its totally fake and some of the fighting scenes are the same, it doesn't even look like they are really hitting each other but, like i said, this all just adds to the effect of the film... classic! seriously, the dubbing is so funny, there are Chinese dudes, British dudes, and American dudes all doing different characters... id give this 7 out of 10 just for being so funny!
