California-based band Cake will return to the road this spring for a series of tour to promote their as-yet-unnamed album. The alt-rockers will kick off the 10-city tour with an April 28 gig in Austin, TX.
The 90s band will then head through Texas and into the Midwest before heading to the East Coast for a few shows. The gigs will also include a two-night stand at Washington, D.C.'s 9:30 Club, Live Daily reports.
The band, which earned huge popularity in the early '90s with their first hit single, "Rock 'N' Roll Lifestyle," will likely wrap up their tour with a single West Coast appearance June 12 in Santa Rosa, CA.
According to the band's official website, they are in the process of recording material for their upcoming album in their newly-converted, solar-powered studio in Sacramento. The band is also known to promote environmental conservation.
