I really don't know how to describe this.

The perfect example of what the french movie industry could give us these days, in the mid seventies. I won't say that's a non sense film, but hard to tell exactly in his true meanings. I don't bother to talk about it, only because it has not been commented yet. I'll try anyway. The drawing of the boredom for a sort of undertaker, funeral company supervisor, played by the exquisite Michel Aumont whose the wife is an ex prostitute, a man who has a mistress to escape from his terrible home life.

I guess the meaning of this film is to make a realistic picture of every one's life, especially the audiences' one. Many folks could recognize themselves in Aumont's character. And some people could also say that women are shown in not such a good way here.

But that's not my point of view.
