Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

There is a scene in which two women are engaged in a battle and are wearing boustiers and short skirts

Evy and Rick start to make-out. They are interrupted before anything happens. They also kiss quite fiercely and passionately throughout the film.

Anksanamun kisses a skeleton Imhotep very passionately. There is a scene at the end where she kisses Imhotep fiercely.

Violence & Gore

Some supernatural and horror violence throughout. Like:

A man gets his hand chewed into mush. And the then he is torn into pieces by a large scorpion. (no blood)

Imhotep sucks his victims' skin. (no blood, but quite graphic)

With his supernatural powers, Imhotep levitates two men and he violently crashes them on tall stones. The impact is quite graphic, even though no blood is seen.

There two intense battle scenes.

Pygmies attack a group of people with blowguns. As Hafez is running away, dead badguys fall to the ground in front. Plainly visible sticking out of each one is about 10 blowgun darts.

Men sink into quicksand. When only their heads are sticking out, pygmies run across the quicksand, using their heads as steps. The last pygmie stomps on their heads to drive them all the way under.

Profanity

the word b-----d is also said but is inturrpted.

The word arse is said

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking

A woman is eaten alive by flesh eating Beetles.

Imhotep is quite menacing. In the train scene he appears suddenly and sucks a man's skin until he turns into a skeleton, though no blood, but it's graphic and frightening.

There are more frightening images and intense scenes.

The little Pygmies may frighten some viewers. They are very menacing and unsettling.
