One will be likely to conclude that the author of this farce, Malcolm Douglas, deserves more credit than the producer, C.H. France. Its situation has been approached in other offerings; but it is cleverly arranged and might have been made most effective. There were a number of laughs, but it was burlesqued, out of all humanity and amused the few rather than the many. The photography is clear. - The Moving Picture World, May 17, 1913
