... in a straightforward style with Guy Pearce in a very interesting part. The movie is flat and mostly good for mindless watching, like other episodes in this 'series', although it is one of the better ones. Déjà vu tries to be a police-movie and a soap at the same time, without being really subtle and therefore confirms its TV-character. Now that Memento and LA Confidential are big hits it's easy to say that Pearce in this movie shows he (as an actor) is able to carry better productions. Déjà vu is not worthy of a second viewing, but the first is kind of recommended (knew I was going to say that, didn't ya?) because of the curiosity that it somehow keeps on generating while you're watching. 6/10
