Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • In the beginning, we see a young woman's dead body floating in the water; she's wearing a bikini, but we only see the lower-half of her body for a brief moment.
  • In one scene, Danny and Gloria are in the water; she proceeds to take off his bathing suit and goes under. The camera pans up to Danny as he moans, indicating that Gloria is performing oral sex on him underwater, but it's not actually shown.
  • A young Brazilian woman in a bikini lays on the front of a boat in a suggestive manner. The same woman is seen again at the end of the film swimming in a pool from her backside, then comes out and kisses Marcos.

Violence & Gore

  • Gloria abruptly pushes Marcos away from her and a fight breaks out. Jeff pushes Marcos into Danny, who pins him on the yacht by putting his knee on Danny's neck. Danny struggles for a bit as Gloria, screaming and being held back by Jeff, kicks Marcos off Danny, then Danny pushes him into the water.
  • Danny, fearing that Marcos might be dead, ties a rope to an anchor around his leg and attempts to drown himself. While underwater, he tries to untangle the rope but is unsuccessful and presumably drowns, until Jeff, who heard Danny jump into the water, dives in, untangles the rope, brings him back up, and revives him.
  • Jeff attempts to kill Danny with a fire extinguisher, however, Danny wakes up and grabs a pocketknife. Danny then walks towards Gloria with both of his hands covered with blood, indicating that he stabbed Jeff, who we then see lying in pain, screaming and covering his wound with his hand. Some blood is shown.
  • Gloria suffocates Jeff by smothering him with a pillow. He is seen and heard struggling for a brief moment until he stops moving, only until a little while later after Gloria shrieks in terror and leaves and Danny comes down, does he wake up.
  • Unbeknownst to Danny, Gloria forcefully puts a signal flare into the yacht's gas tank; a little while later she jumps into the water. Just as Danny starts the engine to get her back, the yacht explodes, killing both him and Jeff, though we don't see either of their bodies.
  • After the yacht explodes, Gloria struggles to stay afloat; coughing a few times and unsuccessfully tries to signal a helicopter. It's implied that she drowned, as indicated by her dead body floating helplessly in the water at the beginning of the film.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Jeff tells Gloria about a time when Danny was discovered drunk inside a hotel room, having spent a lot of money on scotch.
  • At one point later in the film, Jeff and Gloria joke around, saying that they were 'stoned' for an excuse about Marcos' disappearance.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is a brief flashback scene where Danny imagines Marcos died by drowning after pushing him into the water. There are quick shots of Marcos' head with his eyes closed as scary music plays in the background. Although the scene doesn't last too long, it's still pretty frightening.
  • It's revealed towards the very end that Marcos didn't drown after all; he was rescued by the young Brazilian woman who appeared earlier in the film. Unbeknownst to him, Danny, Gloria and Jeff are already dead.
