Jennifer O'Dell (who played Veronica) wore sandals during the first half of season one. Due to complaints about the weather and possibly foot and leg injuries, she wore boots for the duration of the shows run.
The absence of David Orth's character Ned Malone from the final 12 episodes was not originally planed by the scriptwriters. Due to some creative disagreements his character Ned Malone was simply sent on a quest far away.
