Since saying “Bye, Bye, Bye” in 2002, Justin Timberlake, Jc Chasez, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick have each built careers for themselves outside of ‘Nsync — the blockbuster boyband that brought them worldwide fame in the ’90s.
Though there aren’t plans for the group to get back together and make music any time soon, they’re still good friends — reuniting most recently in August for Chasez’s 40th birthday bash.
“The guys spent the entire night together,” a source told People at the time. “They all sat in a group and just reunited, relived and had such a ball.

Live TV comes with certain risks, and Sunday’s Oscars snafu – in which “La La Land,” not “Moonlight,” was mistakenly named Best Picture at first – is a reminder of that. The occasional slip of the tongue or even pranks can lead a few buzzy, unpredictable moments, which may explain why live TV is experiencing a resurgence in popularity among TV programmers.
But there are times though when major snafus take over a live broadcast, causing embarrassment or controversy. It’s in those moments when the networks probably wished there was time for a do-over or edit.
Read More: Why the ‘Moonlight’ Oscar Upset Was Even Wilder If You Were in the Room
Here’s a look at some of TV’s biggest recent mistakes, listed in chronological order, made during live TV:

Jimmy Fallon ain't messin' with Michelle Obama's dougie. The First Lady joins the "Late Night" host for "Evolution of Mom Dancing," a send-up of the viral video, "Evolution of Dance." The Fallon-Obama dance off, which preceded her sit-down interview Friday night (Feb. 22), was introduced in honor of the Michelle's "Let's Move" campaign.
Jimmy wears a wig with a pink cardigan and khaki capri pants, while Michelle quickly joins him wearing a slightly more stylish mom costume. The pair dance side-by-side, demonstrating classic moves like the "Sprinkler," "Raise the Roof," and the "Hip Bump." The dance battle is peppered with some not-so-classic moves as well, including the "Happy Snapper," "Out of Sync Electric Slide," and "Just the Hands Part of Single Ladies."
Jimmy is put to shame, however, and exits stage right when Michelle busts out with the "Dougie." The dance move, popularized by Cali Swag District with their hit song,...

Michelle Obama dropped by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night to talk about her kids fitness initiative, "Let's Move." As a special incentive to get parents to join in the motion, the First Lady and Fallon (decked out in stunning mom style with pink cardigan and Obama bangs) offered instruction in the art of Mom Dancing. Their demonstration includes all the fundamental moves of the genre, including "the Happy Snapper," "Out of Sync Electric Slide," and "Just the Hands Part of Single Ladies." Since no one can Dougie like the First Lady,...

Kermit and the gang hit the shelves last week with the release of James Bobbins’ The Muppets, and this week brings Daniel Radcliffe in his first feature following Harry Potter in James Watkins’ The Woman in Black, which topped the UK box office three weeks in a row back in February, and has been one of 2012’s biggest earners internationally.
Not too bad a follow-up, I’m sure you’ll agree.
Surprisingly few new titles coming to DVD and Blu-ray this week. But next week brings with it Charlize Theron in Young Adult, along with the Blu-ray releases of Studio Ghibli’s Howl’s Moving Castle and Tales from Earthsea, so be sure to get your pre-orders in early for them. Because who can resist Studio Ghibli?
My picks of the week:

Time for an extra helping of didactic ramblings as Glee begins winding down its second year. Representing a season-low in viewership, they go back to the Well of GaGa in the hopes that a second go-around can justify the extra length of a Very Special Episode. Here’s a spoiler: it doesn’t.

The 20-year-old actress will be starring in the film Lip Service as a young singer named Roxie, who has an amazing voice that attracts the attention of a record producer named Eddie (played by Ross Thomas). Screenterrier reported on the shooting of the pilot for BBC 3 supernatural drama The Fades back in June last year. The series is written by 2011 Rts Award-winning writer, Jack Thorne, whose previous credits include This Is England '86, Skins, The Scouting Book For Boys, and Cast Offs.
Filming on the series started last week with 24 year old Iain De Caestecke (best known for playing Adam Barlow in Coronation Street, and most recently seen in Lip Service) taking on the lead role of Paul (played by Olly Alexander in the pilot), a young man who is haunted by apocalyptic dreams that neither his therapist or best friend, Mac, can provide answers for. Worse still, Paul is starting to see the Fades – the spirits of the dead – all around him. Iain is represented by Hamilton Hodell.

One of our favorite mantras around the AfterElton offices is “because visibility matters.” Indeed, the idea that gay and bisexual men need to be visible, both to ourselves and to the wider culture, is one of the principle reasons AfterElton.com even exists. After all, it is only by being visible to family, friends and the world that we’ve been able to overcome the stereotypes and bigotry used to justify discrimination against the Glbt community.
That quest for visibility explains why we have done so many polls including the AfterElton Hot 100, the Fifty Greatest Gay Movies, the Top 50 Gay TV Characters, and the 50 Best Gay Books. After all, it’s not as if Entertainment Weekly is going to ask gay and bisexual men which guys we think are the hottest, which movies mean the most to us or, in the case of our latest poll, which celebrities we most admire.

A great year for women? Twelve months ago we predicted that it would be. Were we right?
This time 12 months ago we promised it was going to be the biggest year in feminism ever. So was it? Er, sort of. We weren't wrong about it being a celebratory year. But our predictions of the feminist events to watch in 2010 were a bit hit and miss. Where did we strike gold? The significance of the movie Precious, the story of an overweight, illiterate teenager in 80s Harlem, pregnant by her abusive father ("primarily female cast", "a must-see", we said). Come the Oscars, the film won six nominations and two awards. What did we overestimate? The impact of Drew Barrymore's directorial debut Whip It! ("a great film"). That turned out to be a bit of a howler. The film went right under the radar, more's the pity.
So what else did we get right?...

This interview with John Barrowman is just a sea of quick quotes worth reading, from his feelings on critics, the fact that he’s expecting seven more years of Torchwood and living six months a year in Hollywood, to his wealth and the fact that he’s still trying to convince Scott to adopt. Well worth the read.
I’ve been curious about Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s Broadway production of The Book of Mormon. Vogue calls it “hands down, the filthiest, most offensive, and—surprise—sweetest thing you’ll see on Broadway this year, and quite possibly the funniest musical ever.”
I really don’t know what to say about the Skinimax-style video for Enrique Inglesias’ “Tonight.” Boobs, lesbian sex, bondage, but somehow almost no beefcake. The video is definitely Nsfw.
Good news about the upcoming Muppet movie: Michael Cera is not playing Walter, the new Muppet. Lady Gaga...

I've found myself extremely distracted this morning. The cause: this gorgeous sizzle reel put together by BBC for their upcoming drama offerings, which include Accused, Aurelio Zen, Christopher and His Kind, The Crimson Petal and the White, Doctor Who Christmas Special, The First Men in the Moon, Hattie, Lip Service, The Nativity, Outcasts, The Shadow Line, Silk, Single Father, The Song of Lunch, South Riding, Toast, Upstairs Downstairs, When Harvey Met Bob, and Women in Love. (Whew.) Look for cameos from Matt Smith, David Tennant, and Christopher Eccleston, which must be the first time the three most recent actors playing the Doctor have appeared in anything together. Even if it is just a sizzle reel. You can view Auntie Beeb's slick and provocative reel below. Just be forewarned: you'll probably want to watch it again and again. Meanwhile, the Beeb also announced upcoming dramas from Sam Mendes, Jane Campion, and Sir David Hare.

The first thing that needs saying about Easy A is the following: I for one am not the kind who is off-put by listening to dialogue that is so witty and on point that it seems too good to be true. Unrealistically rapid, witty dialogue is part of what made Film Noir and many classic films work. Lip service need only be paid to reality when absolutely necessary to preserve suspension of disbelief. Especially when dealing in the comedy genre dialogue will be unrealistic in one way or another what matters is, is it good? The dialogue in Easy A is fantastic from beginning to end and is the...

Agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) and the rest of the Fringe Team race against the clock to find out what's going to happen tomorrow at 3:31 Pm, leading Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson) to learn a thing or two about his own disturbing history.

The infamously sassy woman in charge of People's Revolution, a fashion PR company, now has her own Bravo reality show, Kell on Earth, and has been addressing the lesbian rumors that surround her. She told The Advocate:
I thought I was a lesbian at one point after my divorce from [Warhol protégé] Ronnie Cutrone, who I married at 21. Everybody told me that if I did all these things, I was going to live happily ever after, so getting divorced at the age of 25 is pretty heavy if you’re in love and you believe in that whole system the way that I did. I was like, I think women are really beautiful and everybody thinks I’m gay, so I must be a lesbian.

Cool Hunting is already one of my favorite daily reads, a curated intersection of inspiring art, design and culture from around world. And woven throughout the interviews with designers, craftsmen and artists is a regular web video series Cool Hunting Video that brings this all to life. With a history going back to early 2006, just after Apple announced their video iPods in 2005, the series has grown into a standalone show of 150 episodes to date, and business, in its own right. Its latest episode (above), a three minute look at Nike's newly opened Tokyo flagship store with architect Masamichi Katayama. Shot in Japanese, with English subtitles, we get an authentic sampling of the sounds and design of the new store without an overtly corporate polish. The episode was in fact sponsored by Nike, which explains some of the access they had, but its captured in Cool Hunting's discerning style. Producer Ami...

You know what's better than talking, laughing, loving, breathing, fighting f--king, crying and drinking? Talking, laughing, loving, breathing, fighting f--king, crying and drinking — with a Scottish accent. That's why I trust that BBC3's newly announced lesbian dramedy, Lip Service, will be far superior to The L Word.
Lip Service is a six-part "sexy, funny and irreverent" series about the lives of young lesbians living in Glasgow.
Series creator and writer Harriet Braun (Mistresses, Hotel Babylon) thinks it's going to be better than The L Word too. She told The Guardian: "I loved The L Word but it's high time we saw some contemporary British lesbians, with all the bad weather, trips to the pub and repressed emotions that go with that. It will be as funny as it is pathos-filled, because in my experience that's how life is."
I think she means funny in a "Ha ha, I completely...

According to the National Skincare Foundation, 63 percent of sunscreen users don’t protect their lips. Experts say the lips lack the same amount of melanin found in the rest of our skin, so there is less-natural protection against the environmental elements. The skin on the lips is also super thin and fragile, making caring for them on a regular basis very important.

Teri Hatcher is one heck of a celebrity spokeswoman after all. So says skin-care maker Hydroderm, which had been suing the Desperate Housewives star for breach of contract for allegedly singing the praises of a rival company's lip-plumping product after agreeing to exclusively stump for them. But no more. In a statement issued Friday, Hydroderm spokesman Joshua McCleary called Hatcher a "woman of the highest integrity." "We sincerely apologize for the adverse publicity resulting from our lawsuit...Hydroderm LLC has specifically retracted all accusations made against Teri Hatcher including that she endorsed any competing products." In response to the lawsuit filed a year ago,...

"I've got to go with Brooke. I think she's the one to beat!" This is what Dr. Crankypants Len Goodman just told us moments ago backstage about who will win tonight's vote on Dancing with the Stars. Do you agree? 'Cause Lance and Lacey certainly do not, and they just made a case for themselves—big time. What else went down inside the theater at tonight's big season-ending show? Well, we had front-row seats and can tell you that Miley Cyrus tripped during her performance (which will air tomorrow night), Bruno scowled at one performance like he'd just sucked on a sour lemon, celebs like Christina Applegate and Shannon Elizabeth (I wonder why) were cheering along,...

Ok, so I admit it, I am a slave to fashion. A full-blown shopaholic. Unfortunately, I tend to shop beyond my means. I try to control myself, really, but there are just so many adorable items out there beckoning for me to come rescue them from their retail prisons. And yes, I know, our economy is falling down, down, down, but try telling that to my credit cards. But, alas, if you are like me, there are ways to shop smart and still maintain that style you so crave. No, I am not trying to sell you a self-help book or admit you into shoppers anonymous. I am trying to give you aspiring fashionitas a helping hand.
Now, one would think that alternative fashions would not be as costly as all those mainstream name brands and couture. Ha, I wish. That is why a lot of us “alt” folk tend...
