Excellent video game version of the Parker Brothers classic

If you think the board game is fun, then you'll absolutely love this video game! Sculptured Software's CLUE does a great job bringing the game to life, showcasing impressive 16-bit graphics, catchy music, and an intriguing storyline. The gameplay pretty much resembles that of the board game, but instead of being shown other player's cards to narrow down our suspects, we are treated to animated clips showing who had what weapon at the time of the murder, what room our suspect was in at the time of the murder, etc. It takes a few turns to get used to this new aspect of the game, but once you figure out how it works, you'll become addicted.

Up to six human or computer players can take part, adding more tension to the challenge of being the first one to solve the case, and there are five difficulty levels to choose from as well. The harder the difficulty level, the less detail the animated clips go into about the murder. In order to win on the hardest level, you are pretty much forced to take vigorous notes, as there is a lot more information you are required to remember.

All in all, this is an excellent version of an excellent board game, and I highly recommend it to anyone who still owns a working Sega Genesis or Super Nintendo system.
