Simple-minded porn muffs its storyline
Since the title has the word "bizarre" misspelled on screen, one doesn't expect much from this random Something Weird reissue, appearing on Vol. 45 of its Dragon Art Theatre series. What emerges is crap.
There actually is a premise to this XXX nonsense, namely two guys competing for a promotion at work, attending a party (porn translation: orgy) at their boss's home. This means that three couples will have mix & match sex, killing off slightly more than an hour of running time, resulting in yet another "chaser" for adult theaters to book back in the day.
The sex here is desultory and film is 100% ruined by the domineering "performance" of the guy playing Mr. Appleton, the boss. He's physically unappealing, into bossing people around and under the misapprehension that he is an actor. Result is an hour of bad road.
Gimmick is that one couple (Tom and Patty) are freewheeling sexually: before the party Tom encourages his wife to do anything Mr. Appleton asks, in order to help win him the promotion. The other couple (Bill and Annie) are prudes, evident from their introduction sleeping in separate beds, arranged in their bedroom at a 90-degree angle. Something weird for the Something Weird label.
This garbage is so poorly made that when Tom & Patty arrive at the party the soundtrack has a voice shouting out loudly from off-camera: "TING!", to represent the sound of a doorbell. I can only infer that they were on a set, not in a real house with a real doorbell. Some people replay sex scenes over & over & over as their porn appreciation homework. I replayed the "TING!" moment, virtually the only couple of seconds of quality in this entire opus.
Because this is porn, the prude loses. Bill falls asleep on the foldout sofabed where all 6 performers are making love together (!), and scrams angrily when he wakes up, leaving the sleazy "do anything to get ahead" Tom the recipient of the prize promotion from equally sleazy boss Appleton. I am always pleased to see the manner in which anonymous pornographers express their own self-loathing, via sublimation, in these niceties of plot & characterization -so transparent and filled with Freudian Slip material revealing their true natures.
