Taylor Swift doesn’t give a damn about her bad reputation. Or does she?
On her sixth studio album, Reputation, the Grammy winner, 27, plays with perception. Since rising to fame in 2006, Swift’s knack for super-personal storytelling has been a blessing and a curse. She’s one of the best-selling female artists of all-time. But she’s also fallen prey to the pitfalls of fame and, in recent years, has become as well-known for the headlines she makes as the music she releases.
And it’s her experience with fame — and how it’s influenced her reputation — that fuels her latest LP.

Taylor Swift is set to release her sixth studio album, Reputation, on Friday, Nov. 10. And, regardless of your thoughts on the 27-year-old, she’s always had a way with words.
Which is why for months (years, arguably), die-hard fans, gossip lovers and even the media have been anxious to get a true glimpse into Swift’s life over the past three years.
Taylor Swift Drops Heartfelt New Single 'Call It What You Want' -- Listen!
The Grammy-winning artist has always let the music do the talking – it’s one of her greatest strengths. Heck, when she released 1989, she included packs of Polaroid photos in each hard copy – with a handwritten lyric from the album printed on each one. And we’re confident that this album will be no different. We’ve learned so much from the songs she’s already released -- not to mention the caption she left on an Instagram post on Aug. 25 after announcing the album:...

Tamra Judge was brought to tears on Monday’s Real Housewives of Orange County, as she and fellow Housewife Vicki Gunvalson confronted their fractured friendship while on vacation in Iceland.
The spontaneous conversation came hours after Gunvalson, 55, returned from the hospital where she was receiving treatment for what she thought was a heart attack (but what ended up being a combination of exhaustion and dehydration).

The Hot Shots! movies were the peak of spoof cinema in the 1990s. We take a look back...
Spoof. Say it aloud. Feels like a dirty word doesn’t it?
Aside from even sounding slightly smutty, the spoof movie genre has, of late, been sullied by (five!) Scary Movies, Meet The Spartans and - oh, the irony - Disaster Movie. Transitory, devoid of wit and with the lowest common denominator in their crosshairs, these movies aimed for the tittering teenager, the cheap thrill-seeker and the perpetually stoned.
Perhaps the above seems like a sweeping generalisation, but it’s with good cause. Where these movies and even the term spoof itself have since been eschewed, there remains a series of films which occupy a place of fondness in the heart of - including yours truly, obvs - many a film fan: the Zaz movies.

This Friday, Chris Peckover’s holiday horror comedy Better Watch Out (read my review here) arrives in select theaters and on VOD platforms everywhere, courtesy of Well Go USA. The film pits three teenagers (Olivia DeJonge, Levi Miller, and Ed Oxenbould) against an unknown assailant who is terrorizing them, but it’s quickly revealed that this isn’t your typical home invasion, and soon enough, a wicked game of cat and mouse breaks out, leaving them all wondering just who will be left standing after this night of babysitting gone awry.
Daily Dead recently spoke with Better Watch Out co-star Oxenbould, who most horror fans should remember from his memorable performance in M. Night Shyamalan’s The Visit, and during our interview, he chatted about his involvement with the project, collaborating with Peckover as well as with Miller and DeJonge, and what he loves about the horror genre.

Stephen Colbert‘s sympathy for Sean Spicer, the now-former White House Press Secretary, is running on empty.
The Late Show personality came on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night to talk about his Emmys hosting gig this Sunday, but the conversation veered toward Kimmel’s recent interview with Spicer. “A certain part of me felt sorry for him,” Kimmel said.
“Really?!” Colbert responded. “Because he wasn’t apologizing. He wants to be forgiven, but he won’t regret anything he did. You’ve got to regret something you did to be forgiven.” Colbert did, however, love Kimmel’s interview. “I loved you...

“Step one is realizing you have an issue. Step two is trying to fix it. So Molly’s going to try, but you know…” Yvonne Orji tells Et about Molly Carter, the ambitious young lawyer and best friend to Issa Dee (Issa Rae), who audiences saw scare off man after man on season one of Insecure.
Co-created by Rae and Larry Wilmore, the HBO hit comedy about the two women navigating work and relationships in south Los Angeles explores the black female experience not really seen onscreen since Upn’s Girlfriends.
For Molly’s part, that means trying to carve out a place in a largely white, male law firm and setting standards, albeit way too high at times, for her friends and would-be suitors. Set on finding a man, she eventually crashed and burned while coming to verbal blows with Issa over her relationship with Lawrence Walker (Jay Ellis), which also came crashing down by end...

Not one, not two, but Three huge plot twists this week! Let's get to it.
On Into the Badlands Season 2 Episode 6, the trifecta of awesomeness included a tragic death, a secret revealed, and a massive betrayal.
For me, the reveal of Bajie as a former Abbot was mind blowing.
True, there were clues sprinkled in throughout the season: he is a kick ass fighter, and clearly has a strong moral code deep down, but I Never in a million years thought he was Abbot material.
I strongly suspected something was up when the Abbots searched the opium den on the evidence of their "gift" detection thingy. M.K. was nowhere to be found, and yet the device pinged, showing someone with "the gift" was there.
Bajie hid under the water and, viola, the reading vanished.
His refusal to help Sunny find the Abbots also made my Spidey sense tingle, but...

For hardcore fans of Ed Sheeran, picking a single favorite song off of his new album, Divide, is like picking a favorite child. While "Supermarket Flowers" might be the most emotional, and "Galway Girl" will have you booking a flight to Ireland Asap, the three best tracks off of Divide (arguably) all have something in common: they were inspired by his current girlfriend Cherry Seaborn. Related:Who Are Ed Sheeran's Songs About? Allow Us to Investigate "Perfect" This slow, sweet ballad is reminiscent of "Thinking Out Loud," and will no doubt be heard at wedding receptions for the next few years. With lyrics like "Well I found a woman, stronger than anyone I know / She shares my dreams, I hope that someday I'll share her home / I found a love, to carry more than just my secrets / To carry love, to carry children of our own," it's practically bursting with romance.

Fame – it's a hell of a drug. Feud is like watching Robert De Niro and Al Pacino square off in Heat, except with two of Hollywood's living legends playing a couple of dead ones. In Ryan Murphy's new anthology series, Jessica Lange is Joan Crawford to Susan Sarandon's Bette Davis, a pair of toxic movie divas madly in hate with each other. As Davis famously snipped, "She has slept with every male star at MGM, except Lassie." This eight-episode fever dream celebrates how they basically invented the modern celebrity beef,...

Both Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks came to dinner on Sunday’s Real Housewives of Atlanta with a laundry list of reasons why they were hurt by the other. But while fans hoped the former BFFs would let their problems come out in the wash, Burruss showed she wasn’t willing to wipe it clean — instead airing some dirty laundry that left Parks’ reputation stained.
It was a sad thing to watch for longtime fans of the show who remember the pair as shade-throwing sisters. Though, in their defense, it’s been over two years since the two were on the same page.

When you think about celebrities who frequently make dreams come true, people like Denzel Washington don't usually come to mind. While we're used to seeing the likes of Chris Pratt and Justin Bieber grant wishes left and right, actors like Denzel are much more old school and private and stay under the radar, except when they make amazing movies. This simple fact is what made his recent reunion with his childhood librarian that much sweeter. Connie Mauro worked at Mount Vernon Public Library in New York for nearly 50 years, and while she must have come across hundreds of children throughout her career, she never forgot giving one special 7-year-old his very first library card: Denzel. While gearing up to celebrate her 99th birthday, staff members at Atria Johnson Ferry in Marietta, Ga, the assisted living facility where Connie currently lives, decided to reach out to Denzel to see if they could organize a reunion.

The series’ fall finale spends most of the hour lulling us into a false sense that all will indeed be merry and bright for the Pearsons this Christmas. Old hurts will be smoothed over. New loves will bloom like poinsettias. Painful inevitabilities will seem far-off and unimportant when bathed in the warm glow of familial love.

Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards ended their engagement back in August 2015, and now the world is getting a good glimpse into their split. Little Mix released their new song, "Shout Out to My Ex," this week, and besides being your new favorite jam, it's also littered with references about what exactly went wrong between her and Zayn. In a leaked excerpt from the band's upcoming book, Our World, Perrie confirmed that the former One Direction star broke up with her via text message. "It was horrible; the worst time in my life," she wrote without mentioning Zayn by name. "A four-year relationship, two-year engagement ended by a simple text message. Just like that." Zayn, who is now dating Gigi Hadid, previously shot down the rumors of the harsh breakup to The Fader magazine, saying he has "too much respect" for Perrie to "end anything over text message." While the two...

Stranger Things debuted just outside this year’s Emmys’ eligibility timeframe, but Netflix’s buzzy new show still had a place at the Television Academy’s awards telecast tonight. The show cut to host Jimmy Kimmel’s mom (yes, his real mom) backstage making peanut sandwiches for the audience. Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater seats over 7,000 so Jimmy Kimmel recruited some help handing out all the brown bag lunches. Photo credit: Kevin Winter/Getty Images The “give food out to celebs at an awards show” stunt is growing overdone. But the Stranger Things kids on their bikes were involved this time, so we’ll forgive the Emmys producers for any lack of originality there. As soon as Kimmel announced he had Pb&Js and asked, “Is anyone hungry right now?...

Noah has the worst luck with women.
It was sad to see Zoe go on Scream Season 2 Episode 10, but at least Noah survived.
I'm not exactly sure how since he probably should have bled out in that coffin long before suffocating, but I guess it wasn't as deep as it looked.
Watch Scream Season 2 Episode 10 Online
I get after they rescued him they were rushing to save Zoe, but couldn't Audrey have at least taken off her shirt, sat in the back seat next to him and applied pressure to the wound while Emma sped off to the lake?
There were a lot of characters missing from this one, guys. Kieran, Gustavo, and Brooke were completely Mia, and Eli had the briefest of appearances right at the very end. What does it mean?
Probably that the killer is not someone who was featured in this episode (Eli excluded). I guess...

With a wavering hand, I cracked the seal on Green Lanterns: Rebirth #1 and Rebirth: Green Lanterns #1. That was not a typo. Just the crazy dumb way DC Comics wanted to release the first pair of issues concerning their emerald knights in this new and lovey-dovey DC Comics era. I read both books while my four-year-old bathed.
“What’s that dad?” He inquired. “Dat Gween Wanturn?”
“Yeah buddy.”
“No, it’s not. Why there two? There not two Gween Wanterns…” Why indeed, Bennett.
Why indeed. Well, as Geoff Johns and new scribe Sam Humphries are rebirthing the Gl universe, they start with two distinct directions. Endings come with expectations, and Damon Lindelof is very aware of the bar set for the final season of “The Leftovers.” As he now crafts the show’s remaining episodes, Lindelof recently told IndieWire, “When Season 2 ended, a lot of prominent, very smart people in your field were like, ‘I’m good.’ And there was a part of us that was like, ‘Shit, should we just end it? Why continue?'”
Thankfully, they chose to keep going, but what comes next for “The Leftovers” will be measured against the widely-acclaimed brilliance of what’s come before. Among many Top 10 lists and other accolades, Season 2 of “The Leftovers” landed a Television Critics Association Award nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Drama, just as Emmys voting is underway. Discussion was feverish as the episodes aired, and Lindelof is well aware of the high-regard held for his creation.

If Betty White has taught us anything, it's that being old doesn't mean you're not hilarious. It also doesn't mean you're not really, really vulgar when the battlefield of comedy needs you to drop some serious F-bombs.
By entertainment standards, the roast -- a concept originated by the Friar's Club fraternity way back in 1907 -- is an absolute dinosaur. But it's like a T. rex that assaults you with politically incorrect character assassination and ridiculous celebrity humiliation instead of killer jaws and tiny arms -- old as it is, the roast walks the razor's edge of "too funny" and "too far." Here are five times the comics got that balance exactly right.
1. Charlie Sheen (2011)
"I respect Charlie Sheen, I do ... not his body of work ... it's all been very Christian Slater-ish ... he sucks, but he's good, but he sucks at the same time." And so it was that the...

Try as I might, I doubt I’ll ever be able to purge the image of Bonnie Bennett beheading Caroline Forbes from my memory.

Caroline and Enzo each gave it their best shot, entering Bonnie’s brain to locate the curse’s off switch, but neither achieved much success.

Ariana Grande is shiny haired and beautiful and also fully believes in ghosts and one time licked a donut in a display case, and honestly, I’m kind of a fan of her whole weird vibe. Additionally, I enjoy how she has a tiny speaking voice and a huge singing voice, like Sister Mary Robert from Sister Act. And although tonight’s sketches were a little hit or miss, Ariana handled her hosting/musical guest double duty fairly well. Let’s dig in! Cold Open: CNN reporter Jake Tapper cuts between coverage of Donald Trump’s rally with Ben Carson and an interview with Bernie Sanders. Listen, I was going to miss Jay Pharaoh’s Dr. Ben Carson impersonation as much as the next SNL reviewer, but I would have rather never seen him again than watch another former Republican candidate throw his support behind this orange monster who won’t go away.
